The complete monastery was renovated and over 60 houses were built in the monastery gardens. After a long and thorough design process in close cooperation with the Rijksdienst voor Cultureel Erfgoed (State Agency for Cultural Heritage) and the local Monuments Commity, Forum developed a scheme of users for the existing volumes and spaces inside this spacious complex. Today many commercial offices, among them Forum architects & planners, have their home base, together with a high-profile restaurant Monarh and over 40 student apartments. Parts of the monastery are still under redevelopment in the coming years. The former chapel is now used as an official marriage location for the community of Tilburg and a variety of other meetings.
